Mommy's opened in January 2025 in the East Williamsburg space that held Ba'sik for thirteen years, and the neighborhood has accepted it, if not fully forgiven the loss. Small and warm, with a heated backyard patio for when the inside gets crowded. Weeknights feel like a proper neighborhood bar — regulars at the bar, bartenders who remember what you ordered. Weekends tip social and loud, especially when it's pulling pre-show crowds from Brooklyn Steel up the block.
