~2 min walk (0.1 mi). From Bar Heretic, stroll south down Clermont toward DeKalb — it's a beautiful tree-lined stretch that does a lot of the date work for you. Keep an eye out for the brownstone stoops and front gardens; Fort Greene's architecture is half the show.

Head to Su'juk Vintage on DeKalb for a rummage through one of Fort Greene's most lovingly curated vintage and home goods collections. This is the spot where you find out a lot about someone fast — what they pick up, what they put back, what they try on as a joke. Bonus: it doubles as furniture and home goods browsing, so the rabbit hole goes deep.
~11 min walk (0.5 mi). Su'juk is right on DeKalb, so the transition from browsing to dinner is an easy one. Belli is on Fulton St, which puts it just a short walk southwest — note that Fulton is technically edging toward the Clinton Hill border, but the vibe is firmly Fort Greene spirit.

The homemade pastas are the move — go for whatever's richest on the menu — and the bar program keeps things lively if you want to turn dinner into a full evening. Stark and romantic in equal measure.
