~5 min walk (0.3 mi). Walking from Somm Time on Broome St down to Bacaro on Division St, you'll pass through a quieter, less-trafficked stretch of the LES — peek down the side streets, a lot of the neighborhood's old tenement character is still intact here.

Bacaro has been quietly one of downtown's most romantic rooms for nearly two decades, and the Venetian small plates keep pace with the setting. The vongole is the move; follow it with amaro and linger as long as they'll let you.
